MAGNUS MAXIMUS, (383-388 A.D.), silver siliqua, Trier Mint, (1.78 g), obv. Pearl-diademed draped and cuirassed bust of Magnus Maximus to right, around D N MAG MAX IMVS PF AVG, rev. VIRTVS ROMANORVM around, Roma seated facing on throne, with head to left, holding globe and reversed spear, in exergue TRPS, (S.20644, RIC 84b.1, C.20-a). Toned, flan crack, good very fine.

Ex Dr V.J.A. Flynn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 107 (lot 4005) and also coming from an old Hungarian collection.
