LEO I, (457-474 A.D.), AE 2, (3.87 g), Constantinople mint, obv. around D N LEO P RPET AG, pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right, rev. SALVS R PVBLCA, Leo standing right, holding labarum and globe, left foot on captive below, CON in exergue, (S.21433, RIC X 660, MIB 24a, LRBC 2256). Deep brown patination, very fine and very rare.

Ex RJM collection and previously Dmitry Markov with ticket.
