OLIVER CROMWELL, Lord General, 1650, restrike in lead from an oval die on a nearly round flan (34/5mm) (Eimer 180), this example with excess metal flaw at top, features three-quarters facing bust of Cromwell with legend, 'OLI:CROMWELL.MILIT:PARL:DUX.GEN:', reverse, plain. Nose and face flattened, otherwise nearly fine.
