PALESTINE, Judaea, Bar Kochba Revolt, (132-135 CE), silver zuz or denarius (3.27 g), undated issue (year 3, struck 134/5 CE). obv. 'Shim'on' in Hebrew within wreath, rev. 'for the freedom of Jerusalem' in Hebrew, flagon with handle, luvav to right, (S.5663, Mildenberg 107 [O16/R73], Meshorer 283, H.721). Lightly toned, extremely fine, overstruck on a denarius of Trajan, scarce.
