MAXIMIANUS, (A.D. 286-305 first reign), AE follis, Treveri mint, issued A.D. 303-5, (10.04 g), obv. laureate cuirassed bust of Maximianus to right, around IMP MAXIMIANVS P AVG, rev. around GENIO POPV LI ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, ITR in exergue, S F in left and right field, (cf.S.13241, RIC 576b). Attractive large full flan, brown and green toning, good very fine/nearly extremely fine and scarce.

The die engraver has mistakenly listed "ITR" instead of the usual PTR for the Treveri mint.
