ROMAN, bronze patera handle, (c.1st-2nd century A.D.), of fluted form terminating in a boar's head with elongated muzzle and open mouth, scrolling designs along the terminal (length 140mm, weight 140 g). Deep green toning, some earthen inclusions, very fine and rare.
