GROUP OF FOUR: Distinguished Conduct Medal (GVR); 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal. 313 Sjt A.H.G.Lucas 5/Aust.Inf on first medal, 313 Pte A.H.G.Lucas 5/Bn A.I.F. on second medal, 313 Sjt A.H.G.Lucas 5/Bn A.I.F. on last two medals. All medals impressed. Very fine.

D.C.M.: C.G.: No.23 12Feb1919. 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. He was one of a daylight raiding party, and when some enemy small posts commenced sniping, with an officer and another man, he dashed forward and captured the post; he also took another isolated dug out where the men surrendered. The complete success of the raid was greatly due to his courage, dash and determination.'
