PHILIP I, (A.D. 244-249), silver antoninianius, Rome mint, (4.64 g), issued 244-7, obv. radiate bust to right, around IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG, rev. Securitas seated to left, holding sceptre and propping head on left hand, around SECVRIT ORBIS, (S.8966, RIC 48b, RSC 215). About as struck, good extremely fine.

Ex B.W.Ahearn Collection and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 62 (lot 2056).
