CHINA, Chou Dynasty, Spring-Autumn Period, 770-476 B.C., a Halberd pointed type, a relative to the spades and knife coins, found in only one location State of Yue, (Shaoxing city in Zhejiang Province), (35.65 g and 18.81 g), length 115mm and 84mm, (Hartill -, ref. David Jen p.5, Sch.-, TFP -). Some minor encrustation, otherwise very fine and very rare. (2)

The original type was first discovered in 1986 and only found in the location noted above.
