PELOPONNESOS, Corinthia, Corinth, (370-350 B.C.), silver stater, (8.55 g), obv. Pegasos flying to right, Q below, rev. head of Athena to right, wearing wreathed Corinthian helmet, no symbols on coin. (cf.S.2626, Calciati 203/1 corrected [p.209], Ravel 475 [obv. 234, rev. 328], BCD 58 [this coin, Lanz 105 [lot 58]). Attractive tone and well centred, nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
