BLAXCELL, G., two hundred and fifty pounds, handwritten, Sydney, March 20th 1812, payable to Captain Joseph James, on or before 24th June 1812. Accompanied by a printed form of a notice of protest printed by George Howe, Sydney, 1813, signed by Ellis Bent, Judge Advocate of the Territory of New South Wales, showing that Blaxcell had not paid by 16th August 1813. Stained left and right side, fine and extremely rare.
