THE UNION BANK OF AUSTRALIA LIMITED, ten pounds, altered as a fraud from a one pound, Sydney, 1st Jan 1897, 2/A 719332 (MVR 1c). Perforation horizontally in the centre, large tear and repair, thin paper, frayed edges but full note, thinned areas on the back, signature left on back GDM/17/3/09, poor - fair but very rare.
