PORT PHILLIP, Kangaroo Office, half ounce, 1853, restrike in copper with plain edge. Considerable evidence of die rust on both sides, otherwise red and brown uncirculated or as struck by Stokes, a tell tale die break across the rim at 4 o'clock, probably struck after 1973.
