ELIZABETH I, (1558 - 1603), seventh issue, 1601-2, silver crown, mm 2 (1602) sceptre to I, (29.00 g), (S.2582, N.2012). Broad flan, weak in centres of obverse and reverse, some minor surface marks and lightly polished, otherwise toned fine and very rare with this date mm.
Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 92, lot 3068 (The Cornwall Collection) and previously Dolphin Coins, London, June 1981 with ticket.
