Richard Walsh 2nd (Queensland Mounted Infantry) Contingent; contingent comprised 10 officers and 144 other ranks; Emb.13Jan1900; RTA 31Mar1901; Disemb.29Apr1901 at Sydney, NSW and then by rail to Brisbane, Qld; Disbanded 10May1901. According to one medal roll, Regt No.73 R.Walsh was a Shoeing Smith and he was transferred to the S.A.C. Police 19Jun1900.

With copies of two unit medal rolls and 2 small b&w photos.
