LESBOS, Mytilene, c.450-338 B.C., electrum hekte (2.516 grams), Bodenstedt dates 338 B.C., obv. head of Kabiron wearing distinctive cap, stars either side of cap, rev. head of nymph to right within rectangular linear square, (cf.S.4250, Bodenstedt 99 (dies l/**g*, SNG von Post 208-9 [same dies], Weber 5630 [same dies], Boston 1735 [same dies]). Very fine and rare.

Bodenstedt reports 51 examples from all dies of this type.
