VICTORIAN RIFLES, 1886, large photo album (approx 24x29.5x6cm), with gold blocked leather cover and side lock, page edge gold blocked, features many photos of soldiers and officers in uniforms, mostly b&w, some pages feature highlights in colour of child fairies and flowers, a few photos have a name printed on them, inside cover page beautifully handwritten, 'Presented to/Sergeant. E. Williams/by/Lieutenant. I. Evans/for/The highest handicap aggregate score in three matches/out of four. Total 217 points/in/"C" company Second Battalion/Victorian Rifles/April 1886'. Foxing and some pages damaged, otherwise good fine.

With tag attached for Christie's auctions and handwritten 26.8.01, (lot) 4.
