HADRIAN (A.D. 117-138), AE as, issued 126, (10.87 g), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, around HADRIANVS AVGV[STVS], rev. above COS III, galley rowed to right over waves, steersman under curved arch in stern, S C in exergue, (S.3682, RIC 673, C.446). Red and brown toning with some surface roughness, otherwise nearly very fine and scarce.
