MACRIANUS, (A.D. 260-261), billon antoninianus, Antioch mint, (4.60 g), obv. radiate bust of Macrianus to right, around IMP C FVL MACRIANVS P F AVG, rev. IOVI CONSERVATORI, Jupiter seated to left holding patera and sceptre, eagle at feet, star to left, (S.10803, RIC 9, RSC 8a). Deeply toned, large flan but weak in places, some porosity, good fine or better and rare.
