JUSTINIAN I, (527-565), AE follis, Constantinople mint, (22.27 g) issued year 12 = 538-9, officina B, obv. Justinian bust facing, DN IVSTINI ANVS PP AVC, rev. M, B below, year XII, CON in exergue, large thin flan, (S.163, DOC.37b, BMC 40f, R.493). Dark green and brown patination, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
