EDWARD VI, (1547-1553), second period, reduced fineness silver shilling, dated 1550, bust 6, mm Y, Southwark Mint, (4.61 g), (S.2472C, N.1919). A full coin almost completely struck up, toned very fine and rare in this condition.

Ex Mark E. Freehill Collection, from Noble Numismatics Sale 105 (lot 1699), the Robert A.Climpson Collection, Noble Numismatics Sale 85B (lot 1572), previously from Stacks' Sale 2,3,4 Dec 1997 (lot 1488).
