COMMONWEALTH, (1649-1660), silver halfcrown, 1656/4, (14.66 g), mm sun, rev. with date 1656 with last 6 double struck, (S.3215, N.2722, ESC 437). Dark grey tone, weak in places, otherwise nearly very fine, scarce.

Ex Mark E. Freehill Collection, from Noble Numismatics Sale 65 (lot 824) and bought privately from Spink Australia in 1980.
