SICILY, Syracuse, Agathokles, (317-289 B.C.), issued 317-310 B.C., AE litra, AE 18, (6.60 g), obv. Persephone (Kore) head to left, wreathed in corn, rev. bull butting to left, club and T above, IE in exergue, (S.-, SNG ANS 588, SNG Cop. 867). Earthy dark green patina, otherwise very fine.
