THRACE, Kings of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm (16.90 g), uncertain mint, issued in the mid 3rd century B.C.), obv. diademed head of the deified Alexander right, wearing horn of Ammon, rev, Athena seated left, holding Nike and sceptre, to right and left **BASILEWS LUSIMAXOU*, monogram in inner and outer left field, (cf.S.6814, Meydancikkale -, Muller -). Apparently unpublished, lightly toned, very fine and extremely rare.
