AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), AE dupondius or as, Nemausus Mint, issued A.D. 10-14, (12.88 g), obv. laureate head of Agrippa to left and laureate head of Augustus to right, above IMP across P P, below DIVI F, dotted border, rev. COL NEM on either side of palm-shoot, chained crocodile to right, wreath above, two palm branches below, (S.1731, RIC 159, RPC 525, Sera GIC 518). Minor adjustment marks on bottom left of obverse, otherwise even dark green patina good very fine - nearly extremely fine.

Ex CNG private purchase, 2006 with their ticket, previously from Numismatik Lanz Munchen Auction 128, May 2006 and Noble Numismatics Sale 98, November 2011, lot 5283. With Collector's description.
