VITELLIUS, (A.D.69), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued July - September 69, (23.34 g), obv. A VITELIVS GERMANICVS IMP AVG P M TR P, laureate draped bust to right, rev. Pax standing left, holding branch and cornucopia, PAX AVGVSTI around, SC across, (S.2205, RIC 118, BMC 57, C.67). Attractive medium brown toning, struck on a large medallic flan, crack at one o'clock on obverse, otherwise good very fine and very rare.
