HADRIAN, (117-138 A.D.), silver denarius. (3.22 g), issued c.132-135 A.D., obv. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, laureate and draped bust to right of Hadrian, rev. TRANQUILITAS AVG COS III P P, Tranquilitas standing facing, head left, holding sceptre and resting left elbow on column, (S.3545, RIC II 223 var. [bust], BMC 578 [same dies], RSC 1443). Good very fine, a few surface scratches, lightly toned on reverse.
