ELAGABALUS (A.D. 218-222), silver denarius, struck 218, (3.51g), obv. laureate and draped bust right, around IMP CAES M AVREL ANTONINVS AVG, rev. around, SALVS ANTONINI AVG, Salus standing right, holding and feeding serpent, (S.7543, RSC 258, RIC 140); another Philip I (A.D. 244-249), silver antoninianus, struck 247, Rome Mint, (4.22g), obv. radiate and draped bust right, rev. Rome seated left holding Victory and sceptre, (S.8952, RIC 44b, RSC 169). Toned, good very fine. (2)
