P M TR P VIIII COS III P P, Sol standing to left, right hand raised, whip in left hand, S C across (cf.S.7999, RIC 502) (illustrated); another, (14.21 g), issued 231, rev. Jupiter standing right, naked except for cape flowing to right, brandishing thunderbolt, (cf.S.7967, RIC 629); another, (11.87 g), issued 231, rev. Annona standing left by modius, holding grain ears and cornucopiae, (cf.S.8014, RIC 464); Aquilia Severa, wife of Elagabalus, (c.A.D.220-221), AE As, Rome mint, (11.34 g), obv. diademed draped bust to right, IVLIA AQVILIA SEVERA AVG, rev. CONCORDIA, Concordia standing to left, sacrificing out of patera over lighted altar and holding double cornucopiae, star in right field, (cf.S.7679, RIC 393). Toned, good fine - good very fine. (4)
