JULIAN II, (A.D. 360-363), silver siliqua, Lyon mint, issued c.360-1, (2.23 g), obv. pearl-diademed bust of Julian II to right, around FL CL IVLI ANVS PF AVG, rev. VICTORIA DD NN AVG, Victory walking left, one wing visible, holding wreath and palm branch, LVG in exergue (S.19121, RIC 215, RSC 58a-d). Toned, flan crack, very fine and scarce.

Ex Triton III, lot 1729 (part) and previously the Collection of Cornelius C. Vermeule III with ticket.
