ETRUSCAN, c.3rd century B.C., bronze statuette of a priest, the Etrurian figure is depicted wearing a himation and holding a patera and pyxis, on his head he wears a diadem, usually referred to as a radiate stephane and interpreted as a wreath of ivy leaves or berries, the robes are styled with linear curves, 95mm high, on custom wooden stand. Attractive earthen toning, very fine and rare.
