ROMAN, (1st century A.D.), silver plated brooch, of shield form, with two dolphins above the circular section, (32mm long); (1st - 3rd century A.D.), bronze circular plate fibula or brooch, with central protruding cone and eight outward lugs, parcel-silvered with oak wreath pattern around the centre, (33mm diameter). Toning, very fine and scarce. (2)
