ANIMAL (MUPPET) PUPPET, vintage type with moulded trunk of body and other parts of wood, made by Pelham Puppets in England, with string attachments and hand held control sticks. Very fine.
Animal is one of the Muppets and is the fictional, wild and frenzied monster, a drummer of Dr Teeth and the Electric Mayhem band from the Muppet Show. Animal was the official mascot of the United States Ski Team at the 1998 Winter Olympics and was also featured on a commemorative stamp issued in America.
