CRICKET, John Player & Sons, album with cigarette cards of Cricketers of 1938 Australian and Great Britain teams in the 1938 Australian tour in Great Britain, including Barnes, Bradman, Brown, Fingleton, Hassett, McCabe, O'Reilly, Compton, Hutton, Hammond etc., also printed coloured cartoons on cricket by Charles Exeter Devereux Crombie (1880-1967) an editorial cartoonist as part of his series on "The Rules of Cricket" produced c.1910 (The Boundary" (illustrated), "Lost Ball", "The Fieldsman", "The Innings", The Bowler", "Caught" etc. in all 10 coloured printed cartoons; lot also includes (6) steel engravings by sir E. Landseer on dogs with attached stories. Fine. (lot)
