ITALY, Lucania, Thurium (Thourioi), (425 - 400 B.C.), silver nomos or stater (7.78 g), obv. helmeted head of Athena to right, helmet is decorated with wreath, rev. bull standing to left, **G* below, in exergue, fish to right, (cf.S.436, HN Italy 1759, SNG ANS 879 (similar dies). Nearly extremely fine and very rare as such.
