ITALY, Bruttium, Croton (Kroton), (500-460 B.C.), silver stater or nomos (7.17 g), obv. tripod, crane on right to left, QPO upwards on left, rev. tripod, incuse, (S.256, SNG ANS 269, Gale 17, SNG ANS 270, cf.SNG Cop.1751, cf.SNG Munich 1426). Off centred, light weight, good fine/ very fine and scarce.
