ITALY, Bruttium, Kaulonia, (c.500-480 B.C.), silver third nomos (2.56 g), obv. Apollo advancing right, holding branch, small daimon running right on Apollo's left arm, to right, stag standing right, head reverted, KAV to left upwards, rev. incuse of obverse, but no daimon, KAV downwards to right, (S.253, Noe, Caulonia, 203, SNG ANS 16, SNG Cop. 1702, HN Italy 2039). Nearly very fine and rare.
