P SEPT GETA PIVS AVG BRIT, laureate head of Geta to right, rev. around TR P III COS II P P, goddess standing facing head to left holding torch and globe, (S.7252, RIC 81, RSC 200) (illustrated); Plautilla, wife of Caracalla, (c.A.D. 202-205), silver denarius, issued 204, obv. draped bust of Plautilla to right, around PLAVTILLA AVGVSTA, rev. Venus naked to waist standing half left with apple and palm, at side a shield, before her Cupid, around VENVS VICTRIX, (S.7074, BMC 429, RIC 369, RSC 25). Toned, nearly very fine - nearly extremely fine. (2)
