MAXIMINUS I, (A.D. 235-238), silver denarius (3.37 g), Rome mint, obv. laureate bust to right of Maximinus I, draped and cuirassed, around IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AUG, rev. Pax standing to left, holding branch and sceptre, around PAX AVGVSTI, (S.8310, RIC 12, RSC 31). Toned, nearly extremely fine.
