TRAJAN DECIUS, (A.D. 249-251), AE sestertius, issued 249-250, Rome mint, (17.40 g), obv. radiate cuirassed bust to right, IMP C M Q TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG, rev. Victory advancing left, holding wreath and palm, VICTORIA AVG around, S C across field, (S.9409, RIC 126d, Banti 31). Attractive dark patina, struck on an irregular flan, nearly very fine.
