AUREOLUS, Romano-Gallic Usurper, (A.D. 268-269), antoninianus, (2.30 g), in the name of Postumus, Mediolanum (Milan) Mint, 1st officina, 3rd emission, struck 268, obv. radiate and draped bust right, IMP POSTVMVS AVG around, rev. Fides seated left, holding patera and signum, [FI]DES EQVIT, officina letter P below, (S.-, cf.RIC V 378 (Postumus), Elmer 612, Cohen 60, cf.RSC 60 (Postumus). Has been cleaned and retoning, good very fine and rare.

Ex Ancient Imports 2010 with collector's packet.
