ISLE OF MAN, Douglas, The Douglas Bank Co., silver five shillings or crown, 1811, view of Peel Castle from the quay, rev. legend, plain edge (D.1; Pridmore 46). Beautiful iridescent tone, proof-like mint bloom, metal flaw above the castle, nearly FDC and very rare, one of the finest known.
