COMMONWEALTH, (1649 - 1660), silver crown, 1652/1, (29.47 g), obverse with W and G joined to outer circle, reverse with large 2 over 1, (S.3214, N.2721, ESC 5 [R3]). Attractive dark grey tone, very slightly double struck on legends, nearly very fine and very rare.

Ex Robert Tonner Collection, previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 92, November, 2009, The Cornwall Collection (lot 3118), and M.R. Roberts Sale, Sydney, November 17 1981 (lot 252) with ticket.
