MYSIA, Kyzikos (Cyzicus), (c.550-450 B.C.), electrum stater on Phokaic standard (16.01 g), obv. heads of lion and ram, conjoined, back-to-back, below tunny fish to left, rev. quadripartite incuse punch mark (S.-, Weber -, Von Fritze 54, Greenwell 118, Boston MFA 1422 = Warren 1543, cf. SNG BN 190 (hekte), BMC -, Gillet -, Gulbenkian -, Jameson -, Myrmekion -, Rosen -). Lightly toned, very fine and very rare.
