NERO, (A.D. 54-68), AE sestertius, issued c.66, Lugdunum Mint, (22.81 g), obv. laureate head to left of Nero, globe at point of bust, around IMP NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GERM PM TR P XIII PP, rev. Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory and parazonium, ROMA in exergue, S C across field, (cf.S.1961, RIC 332). Attractive brown patination, good very fine with an strong portrait, scarce in this condition.
