LUCIUS VERUS, (A.D. 161-169), silver denarius, issued 165, Rome mint, (3.39 g), obv. L VERVS AVG ARM PARTH MAX, laureate head to right, rev. Parthia seated to right on ground, hands tied behind back, quiver bow and shield before, around TR P V IMP III COS II, (S.5388, RIC 540, RSC 273). Toned, nearly very fine and scarce.
