THEODOSIUS I, (A.D. 379-395), AE centenionalis, issued 378-383, Constantinople Mint, (4.89 g), obv. helmeted, pearl-diademed draped and cuirassed bust to right of Theodosius I, around D N THEODO SIVS P F AVG, rev. emperor standing on prow of galley, facing right, Victory seated at the helm in the stern, monogram to left, around GLORIA RO MANORVM, in exergue CONA, (cf.S.20478, RIC 52c). Hoard patination, good very fine or better and scarce.
