LANCE HEADS, includes winged head of Frankish type, c9th-10th century, in bronze, also European 10th century issue in steel. The first heavily corroded, both with loss of metal, poor - good. (2)

Both with tags that indicate ex Sotheby's 1 Nov 1978 (the first lot 64, the second no lot number).
