1914 STAR, - clasp - 5th Aug.-22nd Nov. 1914, also with rosette emblem attached to ribbon. 29237 Sapr. W.Armitage. R.E. Impressed. The medal extremely fine, the clasp and emblem toned.

Sapper E. Armitage was from Lancashire. He was posted to 294th Field Coy, Royal Engineers and served in Normandy.
