POWDER FLASK, 18th century, British colonial, carved and darkened 'bugbear' coconut, with metal spout and two suspension loops, intricately hand engraved with floral pattern and three circular panels, one featuring a seaside fortress, one with a soldier in medieval headwear and one with a soldier in 18th century headwear, and with a carved moustached wild face at spout end (approx 11x13cm) (not listed in Riling). Very fine and scarce.
